Raw Food. Life

A raw food diet is not just good for you - it’s also good science.

Science proves that cooking not only destroys nutrition and enzymes, but chemically changes foods from the substances needed for health into free-radicals and poisons that destroy our health!

Your body is actually sort of analkaline battery, running on electrons. Cooking or processing causes food to lose electrons - the source of the energy your body needs. Things that arehealthy 'contribute" electrons/energy, and are called alkalizing or "reducing."Things that are unhealthy steal electrons/energy, and are called acidic or “oxidizing”(which means to burn up, rust, break down or decay).

Healing power of Juices

KIWI JUICE

kiwi fruit juice claims to have more Vitamin C than oranges, as much potassium as bananas, and four times as much fibre as celery. Amazing...isn't it? Originally known as Chinese Gooseberry, this fruit is known as 'vegetable mice' -- souris végétales in French. It seems that kiwi fruit juice is a safe bet to beat the heat, and that too at the cost of a lower cholesterol and stress level.

Further, the power juice is loaded with Phenolics (a natural antioxidant) that effectively fights cancer and other diseases. Kiwi juice is often combined with strawberry juice in fruit cocktail drinks, but it also shares the protein-dissolving qualities of a pineapple. As a matter of fact, this fruit juice scores high points with a rich variety of proximates, minerals, vitamins, lipids, amino acids, along with beta carotene and lutein+zeaxanthin.

Health Facts

Over 400 researches have shown that kiwi fruit juice is the most effective nutrients provider than other fruit juices. It is suggested to consume ½ glass of raw kiwi fruit juice daily. Its benefits can be enumerated as:
  • Raw kiwi fruit juice reduces high blood pressure and regulates heart beat
  • Being rich in Vitamin C, raw kiwi fruit juice boosts our immune system, helps with iron absorption, and the prevention of anaemia
  • Raw kiwi juice helps to enrich your diet with valuable antioxidants that protect cells from free-radical damage
  • Raw kiwi juice improves eyesight
  • Raw kiwi juice supports energy metabolism and nerve function
  • Folate, or folic acid found in kiwi juice, plays an essential role in making new body cells and is essential for women planning pregnancy and during pregnancy
  • Raw kiwi fruit juice aids our fluid balance
  • L-arginine present in the juice, helps to keep the liver, skin, joints, and muscles healthy
  • Raw kiwi fruit juice promotes respiratory tract health.

Galliano Out of Dior.. what's next?

It’s official: John Galliano’s alleged anti-Semitic statements have lost him his job at Dior.
After initially suspending the designer, the fashion house has initiated proceedings to terminate him, calling his behavior “odious,” WWD reports.
“I condemn most firmly the statements made by John Galliano, which are a total contradiction with the essential values that have always been defended by the House of Christian Dior,” says Sidney Toledano, Dior’s president and chief executive officer.
The Dior dismissal comes just hours after Miss Dior Cherie campaign star Natalie Portman issued a statement saying she was “shocked and disgusted” by a video showing Galliano making anti-Semitic slurs (including “I love Hitler”).
In her statement, Portman said she would not be associated with the designer; however, Dior was already set to reveal Galliano’s fate so it’s unknown to what extent Portman’s stance played in his being let go.
The label has yet to comment on what will become of Galliano’s final Dior collection, which is slated to show at Paris Fashion Week on March 4. The designer, who has been with Dior since 1996, also has the eponymous John Galliano line, which is scheduled to show March 6. Because that line is also under the control of Dior, it appears he will be completely label-less … or perhaps looking for a new investor?

Cambios.. buenos o malos?
